The three-unit system delivers up to 1201Mbps on 5GHz and 300Mbps on 2.4GHz, with TP-Link specifying coverage of up to 5,600 ft² / 520 m² for the 3-pack.
Deco X10 uses WiFi 6 technologies including OFDMA, 2×2 MU-MIMO, 1024-QAM, BSS Coloring and Beamforming to improve wireless efficiency, capacity and coverage. Multiple Deco units work together under one WiFi name, allowing compatible devices to move between nodes automatically as users move around the property.
Each Deco X10 provides 2× Gigabit Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN auto-sensing. Ethernet backhaul is supported, allowing the three Deco units to communicate through wired Ethernet when network cabling is available. The system can operate in both Router Mode and Access Point Mode.

All three Deco X10 units operate as one unified mesh network using a common WiFi name and password. Compatible devices can automatically connect to the appropriate Deco unit as users move through the property.
