MikroTik CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ is a professional rackmount Cloud Core Router designed for demanding routing, ISP, enterprise, data-center and network aggregation applications. It combines a 9-core 1.2GHz TILE processor, 2GB RAM, seven Gigabit Ethernet ports, one Combo port and one 10G SFP+ interface in a 1U rackmount chassis.
The CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ was designed with a port architecture in which the Ethernet interfaces have direct CPU connections rather than relying on a conventional switch chip. This allows the Gigabit interfaces to make better use of the router’s processing capabilities.
Important product status: MikroTik currently lists the CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ as a discontinued product. Therefore, this product page should be positioned as a legacy/professional MikroTik CCR model rather than as a current-generation router.
The CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ is powered by a 9-core TILE-Gx9 processor running at a nominal 1.2GHz. It includes 2GB RAM and 128MB NAND storage, providing the hardware resources required for RouterOS-based routing and network management.

The 1× Combo port provides both an SFP cage and a Gigabit Ethernet interface as two physical options for the same logical interface.
This allows the administrator to choose between a copper Gigabit Ethernet connection and an SFP-based connection. RouterOS can switch between the two physical interfaces, and the Combo interface also provides hardware failover functionality when a connection is lost.
The SFP side supports compatible 100Mbps and 1.25Gbps SFP modules, providing additional flexibility for fiber-based network connections.

With 25 bridge filter rules, the published 1518-byte result is approximately 12.29 Gbps, while routing with 25 IP filter rules is approximately 8.26 Gbps under the same manufacturer’s test methodology.
These figures are laboratory measurements using specialized test equipment and should not be interpreted as guaranteed application throughput. Actual performance depends on packet size, enabled RouterOS features, firewall configuration, queues, VPN processing and traffic patterns.
The CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ also provides hardware-assisted IPsec capabilities. MikroTik’s published test results show approximately 1.46 Gbps for a single AES-128-CBC + SHA1 tunnel using 1400-byte packets under the specified test conditions.
For 256 simultaneous tunnels using the same cipher and hash combination, MikroTik publishes approximately 2.66 Gbps at 1400-byte packet size. Actual VPN throughput will depend on tunnel count, encryption settings, packet size and RouterOS configuration.
The rackmount CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ includes two AC power inputs and two PSU slots. It accepts 100–240V AC input and provides power redundancy for professional network installations.
The router also supports passive PoE-in on the designated Ethernet interface, with an input range of 15–57V. The PoE input is intended as an alternative power method rather than a PoE output function.

The CCR1009-7G-1C-1S+ can be used in ISP and WISP network architectures where multiple Gigabit interfaces and a high-speed fiber uplink are required. Its independent Ethernet architecture and RouterOS capabilities allow it to handle routing, VLANs, firewall policies and other network services.
