The MikroTik wAP LR8 Kit is a ready-to-deploy LoRa®WAN gateway for the 863–870 MHz EU band, combining industrial-grade hardware with MikroTik’s RouterOS for seamless IoT connectivity. This compact, weather-resistant kit includes the wAP LR8 device, an integrated LoRa® concentrator module, external omnidirectional antenna, power supply, PoE injector, and mounting accessories—everything you need to start capturing sensor data at scale.

Integrated LoRa® Concentrator & Dual-Band Routing

The wAP LR8 features an SX1302-based LoRa® concentrator supporting up to 16 channels simultaneously, aggregating data from hundreds of LoRa® sensors and nodes. On the networking side, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz) and Gigabit Ethernet for backhaul, with built-in PoE-in for easy deployment in any environment.

863–870 MHz EU-Compliant Wireless

Configured for the European 863–870 MHz frequency plan, the wAP LR8 Kit meets local regulations and optimizes sensitivity and range. The included 5 dBi omnidirectional antenna extends coverage across wide areas, making it ideal for smart cities, agriculture monitoring, and industrial automation.

Weatherproof IP54 Enclosure & PoE Power

Housed in an IP54-rated casing, the wAP LR8 withstands dust, rain, and temperature extremes (–40 °C to +70 °C). Deploy it outdoors or indoors on walls and poles. Power the gateway via the provided PoE injector over Cat5e cable, eliminating the need for local AC outlets.

RouterOS LoRa®WAN & Network Management

Running MikroTik’s RouterOS v7, the kit provides intuitive LoRa®WAN configuration, firmware-over-the-air updates, network server integration (The Things Network, ChirpStack), SNMP monitoring, and VLAN support.
