The Ubiquiti U6 Plus (U6+) is a compact dual-band WiFi 6 access point designed for homes, offices, retail locations, hospitality environments and other small to medium wireless deployments. It operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and uses 2×2 MU-MIMO on both radios.
The U6 Plus provides a theoretical maximum data rate of 573.5 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 2.4 Gbps on 5 GHz when using the supported channel bandwidths. It features a single Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 uplink and is powered through PoE.
With support for 300+ concurrent clients, wireless meshing, fast roaming, band steering, captive portal functionality, VLAN assignment and centralized UniFi Network management, the U6 Plus is a practical choice for managed WiFi deployments requiring WiFi 6 performance without moving to a multi-gigabit Ethernet uplink.

The U6 Plus supports WiFi 6 across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It can simultaneously provide connectivity to compatible WiFi 6 clients while maintaining backward compatibility with supported WiFi generations.
Its dual-band architecture makes it suitable for general business and residential wireless deployments where 6 GHz is not required.
The U6 Plus uses 2×2 DL/UL MU-MIMO on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. MU-MIMO allows compatible clients to communicate more efficiently with the access point when multiple devices are active simultaneously.
Ubiquiti specifies a maximum 5 GHz data rate of 2.4 Gbps at 160 MHz. The 2.4 GHz radio supports up to 573.5 Mbps at 40 MHz.
These are theoretical wireless PHY rates and should not be interpreted as guaranteed internet speed or actual application throughput. Real performance varies according to client capability, channel width, RF interference, signal strength, distance and network configuration.
The U6 Plus has one Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port for network connectivity and PoE power. Unlike higher-end UniFi models with 2.5GbE uplinks, the U6 Plus uses a standard Gigabit Ethernet connection.
