The Ubiquiti PBE-5AC-620 PowerBeam ac is a high-gain 5 GHz outdoor wireless CPE designed for long-range point-to-point (PtP) and point-to-multipoint (PtMP) wireless networking. It combines a large 620 mm directional dish with 29 dBi antenna gain and Ubiquiti airMAX ac technology for professional outdoor wireless links.
The PBE-5AC-620 features a Gigabit Ethernet interface, passive PoE power and dual-linear polarization. It supports channel bandwidths up to 80 MHz in PtP mode and is designed for applications such as building-to-building connectivity, wireless backhaul, WISP networks, remote site connectivity and IP surveillance backhaul.

The PowerBeam ac 620 provides one 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port. The interface connects the wireless CPE to the local network while the same Ethernet connection carries power through the passive PoE arrangement.
The official Ubiquiti specification lists a 24V, 0.5A Gigabit PoE adapter as included. The device uses passive PoE over two pairs and supports a 20–27V DC input range.
This is passive PoE and should not be confused with IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at active PoE.
For point-to-point deployments, the PBE-5AC-620 supports 10/20/30/40/50/60/80 MHz channel bandwidths. For point-to-multipoint deployments, supported bandwidths are 10/20/30/40 MHz.

The PBE-5AC-620 uses an outdoor UV-stabilized polycarbonate enclosure and is designed for demanding outdoor installations. Ubiquiti specifies an operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and 5–95% non-condensing humidity.
The large dish has a specified 200 km/h wind survivability, making correct mechanical mounting and alignment particularly important for outdoor tower and rooftop installations.
The PowerBeam ac provides wireless and Ethernet statistics including data rates, Ethernet link rate, packet errors, uptime and wireless distance. It also supports management functions such as SSH, SNMP, web-based management, ping watchdog, routing and traffic shaping.
