The Grandstream GWN7831 is a high-performance Layer 3 aggregation managed network switch designed for medium-to-large businesses, enterprise networks, campus infrastructure and professional IT environments that require high-speed fiber connectivity, advanced routing, network segmentation and centralized management.
The GWN7831 provides 4 combo Gigabit Ethernet/SFP ports, 24 Gigabit SFP ports and 4 dedicated 10G SFP+ ports. The four combo ports share their physical interface between copper Ethernet and SFP connectivity, while the remaining SFP interfaces provide high-density fiber connectivity. Its four 10G SFP+ ports provide high-speed uplinks for network aggregation and core connectivity.
With a 128Gbps switching capacity, 64Gbps total non-blocking throughput and 95.232Mpps forwarding rate, the GWN7831 is built for high-performance network aggregation. Its Layer 3 routing, advanced VLAN, QoS, multicast and security features provide administrators with extensive control over enterprise network traffic.

The Grandstream GWN7831 is designed for deployments where a large number of fiber-based network connections are required. It provides 24 Gigabit SFP interfaces and 4 high-speed 10G SFP+ interfaces, allowing the switch to aggregate multiple fiber links while maintaining high-speed uplink connectivity.
Four of the Gigabit interfaces are combo ports, supporting either Gigabit Ethernet or SFP connectivity depending on the deployment requirement. The remaining Gigabit SFP ports are dedicated fiber interfaces.
