The MikroTik hAP ac lite RB952Ui-5ac2nD is a compact dual-band wireless router and access point designed for home, small-office and basic managed networking environments. It provides simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi, five Fast Ethernet ports, passive PoE-out on Ether5 and a USB Type-A port for compatible 3G/4G modems.
The hAP ac lite uses a 650MHz single-core QCA9531 processor, 64MB RAM and 16MB Flash storage. It runs MikroTik RouterOS with a Level 4 license, providing advanced routing, firewall, VLAN, VPN, bandwidth management and wireless configuration capabilities.
With an AC750-class wireless specification, the device supports up to 300Mbps on 2.4GHz and up to 433Mbps on 5GHz under the manufacturer’s specified wireless PHY rates. It is important to note that all five Ethernet interfaces are 10/100Mbps, not Gigabit Ethernet.

Ether5 supports passive PoE-out with a maximum total output current of 500mA. This allows the hAP ac lite to power a compatible passive-PoE device through the fifth Ethernet port.
Passive PoE-out is useful in MikroTik installations where a nearby compatible device needs to receive power from the router. The connected equipment must be compatible with the specified passive PoE output.
The MikroTik hAP ac lite includes one USB Type-A port with up to 1A available USB current. The USB interface can be used with compatible 3G/4G modems, providing an additional option for Internet connectivity.
