Designed as the outdoor version of the RB5009 platform, this model adds a durable IP66-rated enclosure and extensive power-input options. It is suitable for outdoor network cabinets, towers, wireless infrastructure, ISP deployments, surveillance infrastructure and other installations where the router may be exposed to demanding environmental conditions.

This interface combination allows the router to connect multiple Gigabit devices while providing a 2.5G Ethernet connection for higher-speed equipment and a dedicated 10G SFP+ interface for fiber or direct-attach uplinks.

One of the key differences between the RB5009UPr+S+OUT and indoor RB5009 variants is its rugged outdoor enclosure. MikroTik specifies an IP66-rated enclosure when the device is installed according to the manufacturer’s mounting and sealing instructions.
