MikroTik SXT LTE6 kit is an outdoor 4G LTE Cat6 CPE designed to provide Internet connectivity in remote locations where fixed broadband may be unavailable, difficult to install or unreliable. It combines an integrated LTE Cat6 modem, directional LTE antenna, dual SIM support, two Ethernet ports and MikroTik RouterOS v7 in a compact outdoor enclosure.
The SXT LTE6 kit supports theoretical LTE speeds of up to 300 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. Its integrated antenna provides approximately 9 dBi gain with a 60° beamwidth, helping the device establish a focused cellular connection toward a suitable mobile network.
The device is designed for outdoor installation and uses an IP54-rated enclosure. It supports passive cooling and can operate across a wide tested temperature range, making it suitable for remote connectivity deployments.
The main feature of the MikroTik SXT LTE6 kit is its integrated LTE Category 6 modem. LTE Cat6 supports theoretical maximum speeds of up to 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink under supported carrier and radio conditions.

The SXT LTE6 kit provides 2× 10/100 Ethernet ports. These are Fast Ethernet interfaces rather than Gigabit Ethernet ports.
Ether1 is used for PoE input, while Ether2 provides passive PoE-out for a compatible downstream device. This can allow the SXT LTE6 kit to provide network connectivity and power to another supported device over Ethernet.
Because the Ethernet interfaces are limited to 100 Mbps, the Ethernet side of the installation should be considered when planning a network around the device. The LTE modem itself has a theoretical 300 Mbps downlink capability, but a single 100 Mbps Ethernet connection cannot deliver the full theoretical LTE rate to a downstream wired device.
The SXT LTE6 kit supports 802.3af/at PoE-in and passive PoE-out on Ether2. MikroTik specifies a broad input voltage range of approximately 12–57V.
The passive PoE-out current limit depends on the input voltage. MikroTik specifies up to 600mA at lower input voltage and up to 400mA at higher input voltage, with a maximum total output current of 600mA.

The exact failover configuration depends on the primary router and the desired network architecture. The SXT LTE6 kit itself provides the LTE WAN interface and RouterOS routing capabilities.
The MikroTik SXT LTE6 kit is primarily an LTE CPE/router. It does not provide a conventional integrated WiFi access point for client devices.
Its two Ethernet ports are used to connect the LTE gateway to other network equipment. If WiFi coverage is required, a separate MikroTik or third-party wireless access point can be connected to the Ethernet network.

These are manufacturer test results rather than a guarantee of real-world Internet throughput. Actual performance can vary depending on packet size, RouterOS configuration, firewall rules, queues, LTE conditions and connected equipment.
The SXT LTE6 kit should not be confused with the older SXT LTE kit. The LTE6 version uses a newer Category 6 LTE modem with theoretical speeds up to 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, while the older SXT LTE kit uses LTE Category 4 with up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink.
