The Ubiquiti UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra, also known as the UniFi G5 Turret Ultra, is a compact 4MP 2K PoE security camera designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It combines a 1/2.4-inch CMOS sensor, 2688 × 1512 resolution, integrated IR illumination and UniFi Protect support in a compact turret form factor.
The camera provides 30 m (98 ft) IR night vision, a 102.4° horizontal field of view and AI-powered smart detections for people, vehicles and animals. Its IP66 weatherproofing and IK04 tamper resistance make it suitable for a range of residential, commercial and business security installations.
With a single 10/100 MbE RJ45 network interface and PoE power, the UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra can be integrated into a UniFi Protect surveillance system. It also includes a built-in microphone, which can be disabled when required.
The UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra captures video at 2688 × 1512 resolution using a 1/2.4-inch CMOS sensor. This 4MP resolution provides more image detail than Full HD cameras and is suitable for general-purpose security monitoring.
The camera includes integrated IR LED illumination and an IR cut filter for night operation. Ubiquiti specifies an IR night-vision range of up to 30 metres (98 feet), helping maintain visibility in low-light and nighttime surveillance conditions.
The G5 Turret Ultra supports smart detections for people, vehicles and animals. These detection capabilities can help reduce the need to manually review irrelevant motion events when the camera is used with the UniFi Protect surveillance platform.
The fixed focal-length lens provides a field of view of 102.4° horizontal, 54.9° vertical and 120.6° diagonal. This makes the camera suitable for monitoring entrances, corridors, driveways, shops, offices and other areas where a broad viewing angle is useful.
The UVC-G5-Turret-Ultra uses a single 10/100 MbE RJ45 port for network connectivity and PoE power. The camera supports a voltage range of 37–57V DC. PoE simplifies installation by allowing network connectivity and power to be delivered over the same Ethernet connection.
The camera is rated IP66 for weatherproofing and IK04 for tamper resistance. It operates in ambient temperatures from -30°C to 50°C and supports 0–90% non-condensing operating humidity.
