It features 2×2 MIMO wireless technology, two detachable 3dBi omnidirectional waterproof antennas, a weather-resistant IP65 enclosure and 24V passive PoE for flexible installation. The EAP110-Outdoor is part of the TP-Link Omada business networking ecosystem and can be centrally managed through an Omada Hardware Controller or Omada Software Controller. The 300Mbps figure represents the theoretical physical wireless link rate; actual throughput depends on interference, distance, obstacles, network conditions and client-device capabilities.

The EAP110-Outdoor uses an IP65-rated weatherproof enclosure designed to protect the access point against dust and water ingress during outdoor deployment. TP-Link also specifies protection against lightning and electrostatic discharge when the product is properly installed, grounded and connected using appropriate cable shielding.
The access point supports an operating temperature range of -30°C to 65°C, making it suitable for a wide range of outdoor environments.
EAP110-Outdoor comes with two detachable 3dBi omnidirectional waterproof antennas. Because the antennas are detachable, the design also provides flexibility for specific installation requirements where compatible alternative antennas may be appropriate.

TP-Link EAP110-Outdoor supports 24V passive PoE. The passive PoE adapter is included, allowing the access point to receive power and network connectivity through Ethernet without requiring a separate DC power adapter at the installation point.
Important: EAP110-Outdoor uses 24V passive PoE. It should not be treated as an 802.3af/at PoE device. Use the compatible passive PoE power source specified by TP-Link.

EAP110-Outdoor integrates with the TP-Link Omada SDN platform, allowing compatible access points, switches and gateways to be managed from a centralized interface. This is useful when deploying multiple wireless access points across an office, hotel, campus, retail property or outdoor area.
EAP110-Outdoor supports captive portal authentication for managed guest Wi-Fi deployments. Captive portal functionality can be used to provide controlled guest access, while multiple SSIDs allow administrators to create separate wireless networks for different user groups.
The access point also supports SSID-to-VLAN mapping, making it possible to separate wireless traffic when deployed with a compatible VLAN-capable network infrastructure.
